Meet the Team

Russell Stannard is a principal lecturer in Multimedia/ICT at the University of Westminster as well as the course leader in the MSc in Interactive Multimedia. He began work on the site in January 2007 with a small number of videos teaching Adobe Director and Photoshop. Russell also teaches on courses in ICT and English for Academic Purposes as well as running the Media and Technology module on the MA TESOL at Westminter University. He runs a very popular website for training teachers in using technology in language teaching teachertrainingvideos.com.which was awarded the JISC/THE Oustanding Initiative in ICT

Savraj Matharu is a visiting lecturer at the University of Westminster where he teaches on a number of courses in both the Harrow School of Computer Science and the Media and Arts School. He teaches a whole range of multimedia products including Flash, Director, Premiere and 3D Studio Max. He is also a free-lance developer specialising in the use of Adobe Flash and video content with a strong emphasis on design. His portfolio includes work on the MC Neat project MC Neat.

Paul Trotter is a freelance interactive multimedia designer with a background in teaching. He has taught and studied in the UK and Australia. He creates training videos for teachertrainingvideos.com and multimediatrainingvideos.com. He has spoken on ‘The Innovative Use of Information Technology to Engage Students’ at the ‘Teachers Take Over Parliament’ conference in Melbourne, Australia and has received the award for ‘Excellence in the Use of Technology in the Classroom’ from the Yarra Valley E-Learning Community.

Mike Taylor is a visiting lecturer at the University of Westminster where he teaches a wide variety of courses. These include multimedia related topics such as HTML, JavaScript and designing ecommerce sites using PHP and MySQL databases. In addition to these courses he also teaches on subjects covering Advanced C++, the design and implementation of computer networks using Microsoft Windows operating systems and building desktop computers. Away from Westminster, Mike runs his own IT company in Birmingham called Harborne Computers that specialises in providing IT support and setting up networks for small to mid-sized companies.
